Friedel Dzubas was associated with the second-generation Abstract Expressionist group in New York in the 1950s. His works are in a number of major museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim in New York, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
